Of all the nice things you can say about the upcoming Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1, the one thing that tilted my sleepy brain was this:

Flash: 2 position (straight ahead / bounce)

Built-in bounce flash! OMG! This is the single most important missing must-have feature in today’s DSLR’s.

Who knows what’ll happen in a year (or five) when I’ll have to replace my old trusty, but looks like this Lumix is a winner. Of course, I say this before I actually look at it’s price.

OK, I’ve checked the price. 1999 US$ with a 14-50mm lens. Sort of ouch, but …who knows.
