I just stumbled upon this stuff:
The Thracians were extremely patralineal. Apart from practicing polygamy, men considered women placed on earth to pleasure men. Thracians considered death an honor and accepted it as a natural part of life. The Thracians were extremely proud people. If a man’s father was murdered, it was considered practical to slaughter the murderer, his family (extended), and his livestock. Also, upon the death of a husband, the wives would fight over who was loved more by the deceased. Usually determined by the winner of a match to the death. The wives would tie their left legs together and fight with strips of cowhide and a staff. The winner of this deathmatch would then commit suicide and be given the honor of being buried at the right hand of her husband.

Si ei tratau femeile la fel ca si tracii, cred ca era ceva normal pe vremea aceea. Si in plus la greci era foarte cool sa fi gay si pedofilia nu era deloc condamnata. Era o mandrie pt un aristocrat sa aiba pe langa el un invatacel de vreo 13, 14 ani pe care sa-l invete diverse :) Am pus comentariu pentru ca mi s-a parut putin deplasata treaba cu ‘I am extremely proud of my people, not.’ Motivele pentru care nu poti fi mandrul de poporul tau nu cred ca se regasesc in lucruri intamplate cu mii de ani in urma. E ca si cum as spune ca nu imi plac francezii din cauza galilor sau ca nu imi plac americanii din cauza irlandezilor betivani care au emigrat acolo.

Bogdane, ai dreptate, şi grecii erau o societate patriarhală, de la misoginiii din Atena până la hăndrălăii cuţitari din Sparta. In plus, şi dacii aveau două oale şi trei lei cu inscripţii în limba lor, adică erau chiar culţi. Tot ca grecii, în principiu.
