I have a neighbour who owns a Mac, now he upgraded to a Mac Intel DuoCore laptop color black.
It looks great, the best screen I ever saw on a laptop in terms of lighting and screen clarity. Its a typical Mac with genius simple things that makes it stand out.
But….
It has a completly useless remote control (on a laptop that you have on your knees, whats the use? No TV board or something for that remote).
It induces the feeling that the Mac owner its “oh so special” and that marketing spin is quickly getting to the users head. I have witnessed that many times, if you use detergent X you are somehow better that another person that uses detergent Y
-no pcmcia port (how am I gonna connect my 24 bit Creative Audigy? or any other pcmcia for that matter).
Ok. Now… I like the iPhone, the Ipod and even the Mac.
I could use the iPhone, I use the iPod. I find no use whatsoever for the Mac.
The guy told me: “but look how nice the movies open, look how easy I can edit and make my own dvd, blah blah blah”
For me its a useless crap, no offence. I cant use the crap for work. For me personally is a NO NO, poo poo, caca.
I cant play Microsoft Flight Simulator on it. Yes.. that is MICROSOFT :)
I cant scrap adwords keywords with it because the tool works on bloody PCs. And other tools made for PC too.
So resuming: I cant work with it, and I wont buy one just to be fashionable.
And I hate the adoring crowds of the Macs, the same way I hate the Playstation 3 crowds.

What can I tell you… you can’t sell fish from the back of a Smart, and can’t go to your wedding in a bus. Or something like that. Hater!

BTW, you do know that every Mac now is a PC that can run Windows. I guess that makes it a Batmobile. Or something like that.

To save money and space. Also, to make you get the MacBoon *Pro*, with its Express Card slot.
