Pixelator is now released, and I gave the demo a 5 minutes spin. Yes, it’s pretty. It steals a few de facto standard features and shortcuts from Photoshop, which is a good idea. Some of the filters are very nice, and the real-time preview is great. Unfortunately the good things stop here for me.
There’s no alpha-blending in color adjustments, so a simple Color Replace filter becomes a nasty polarization. There are no free transform control, you can’t just stretch up a text layer. I didn’t go further, these are already two show-stoppers right here.
Waiting for the next major update.
PS: Thanks for the heads-up Manu. Get a blog so I can link to you.

Pixelmator costa 59 US$. E OK, mai ales comparat cu one biiiillion dollars cat face Photoshop.
Cred ca 99 US$ pentru Photoshop Elements e o afacere mult mai buna.
