Of all the nice things you can say about the upcoming Panasonic Lumix DMC-L1, the one thing that tilted my sleepy brain was this:

Flash: 2 position (straight ahead / bounce)

Built-in bounce flash! OMG! This is the single most important missing must-have feature in today’s DSLR’s.

Increasing the exposure level, even with one point, instantly wipes out the dark levels in the image. Steps to reproduce:

Edit a photo in iPhoto. Open the Adjustments panel. Increase the Exposure by 1 point, either by clicking on the wider aperture control or by dragging the Exposure slider to the right.
