Whoa, NetVibes does work off-line! If you load the home page and then disconnect, you can still access all the tabs and news items. Seems like everything is actually pre-loaded and you can move around and read your stuff as if you were online.

Activity indicator for Tiger Mail

Dear LazyWeb,
is there any way to have an activity indicator (aka status bar) in Apple Mail?
The pre-Tiger Mail application had a real, full-size status bar that showed all sorts of useful information. I want it back!

iCal can’t accept invites sent to any address

Our company has e-mail aliases for various internal groups. People have the habit of inviting participants to meetings using these mailing lists, instead of the exact e-mail address of each person.
